HR Coordinator will be responsible for providing assistance with the day- to- day human resource administrative, benefit, compliance, employee relations and recruiting functions. The Human Resources Coordinator will perform administrative duties related to the operation of the human resources office.
HR Coordinator Schedule:
Monday-Friday: 8:00AM to 4:30PM (with a 30min unpaid break) with observed holidays off per COMHAR policy: 1 Opening
HR Coordinator Salary:
$45,760.00
HR Coordinator Position Summary:
- Support HR department with general administrative duties including but not limited to supply orders, coordinating and scheduling resources, etc.
- Assist with and coordinate actions such as employee status and pay changes, I-9 reverification and audits, current or former employee requests for info, employment verifications, etc. as well as other projects and HR initiatives.
- Process all status changes in the HRIS system.
- Creates and maintains personnel file as well as on-going credential files for staff, independent contractors, temps and interns and makes them accessible as needed.
- Assist with new hire orientation, create and disable employee identification badges.
- Assist with data entry and maintain an updated list of personnel and employee demographics and provides administrative support.
- Responsible for full cycle termination process: process termination forms, deactivate in employee in Paylocity/Relias, disseminate termination letters, collect employee equipment.
- Responsible for tenure award process which includes notifying tenure award recipients and supervisors, obtaining employee synopsis, tenure award letters /certificate and tenure compensation.
- Reconcile monthly benefit billing.
- Produce all employment records like hours worked, and employee file from Paylocity for Workers Compensation to the Director of Employee Relations
- Produce bi-weekly reports, monthly reports for status changes and terminations to Directors.
- Back up for Front desk as needed
- Check department mails and distribute it to the right person.
- Assist with any special HR project within the department
- Act as a point of contact for the HR department.
- Perform miscellaneous administrative task, including database entries into Paylocity, pulling reports such attendance, new hire and turnover reports as requested by management. Report any errors in employee record to Payroll, Director of Employee Relations on time.
- Assist with internal and external HR related inquiries or request related to employment and income verification.
- Stay knowledgeable of government regulations impacting HR function.
- Perform other duties as assigned/requested.

- Must have experience in Administrative Positions
- Nice to have HRIS system experience
- Bilingual Speaking (English and Spanish) preferred
