Visit our website at www.rise.org to learn more about our work.Job Summary:Responsible for maintaining HR data integrity on a daily basis, generating reports, and offering general support to the HR team.This position works 20-30 hours per week, and if working 30 hours per week, the employee will be eligible for Rise-sponsored employee benefits. What you will do:
- Lead with a service focus - Set an example for others and lead them by focusing on providing excellent service for people served, their families, and all other people who support them, etc.
- HRIS administration-Serve as the point of contact for the HR and Payroll team regarding the HRIS system and reporting, including processing status changes, coordinating meetings with the HRIS representative, and informing the team of system updates as applicable. Register new users and monitor security assignments as needed.
- Bonuses and commissions - coordinate and verify hiring and employee referral bonuses and ensure they are processed in payroll in an accurate and timely manner.
- Benefits Quality Assurance - complete regular audits of Rise's benefits invoices and program enrollment in vendor systems and within HRIS to ensure data accuracy and troubleshoot any issues as they arise. Serves as a vendor contact and monitors vendor feeds from HRIS.
- Assist with employee benefits including, annual benefits open enrollment, processing qualify life events, and leaves of absence administration.
- Perform ongoing data input within HRIS and LMS, including processing status changes, employee demographics, and wage theft notices.
- Works closely with the Human Resources and Payroll team to complete internal audits and ensure accurate and complete data within HRIS and LMS systems.
- Serves as internal subject matter expert on reporting with HRIS and supports the creation of internal dashboards for payroll and human resources.
- Assist the team in handling employment verifications and other employment-related inquiries from person-served guardians, case managers, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Complete and verify team member and person-serve I-9 forms and documentation and maintain I-9 files.
- Support the team with projects as may be assigned.
- Perform other duties as needed.
RequirementsWhat you will need:
- At least two years of recent experience with responsibility for HR data and systems.
- Strong analytical, MS Excel, and problem-solving skills.
- Technology skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, etc.).
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exemplary judgment, discretion, integrity and professionalism.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
- Sees multiple paths to solving a problem and does not get stuck.
- Able to handle highly sensitive and confidential materials.
- Ability to independently establish and complete work schedules and meet deadlines.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Compliance with Rule 11 and Rise MVR background check required.
- Able to pass Rise pre-employment job testing.
Preferred Education, Experience, and Other Qualifications
- Two-year degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- Experience with Paylocity strongly preferred
- Experience in the nonprofit industry and with HRIS allocations
- Skill in capturing and summarizing payroll information for analytical and monitoring purposes

- This is a hybrid work option, with the requirement to work from the Rise Admin Office (Fridley, MN) every other Monday and as needed
