POSITION SUMMARYCoordinates and facilitates the processes that support various functional areas within Human Resources. Leads special projects within HR. Leads all new hire activities including first day onboarding, and New Team Member Orientations. Provides generalist HR support to all areas of the HR department including but not limited to learning and development, recruiting, compliance, records management, reporting, and HRIS administration.LOCATIONNashville, TN office. BMI has transitioned back to working in the office on a regular hybrid schedule. At present, most team members are expected in the office three (3) days a week. Decisions regarding future transitions will take place in phases as BMI continues to closely monitor COVID-19 as employee safety is our priority.FUNCTIONS OF THE JOBEssential Functions: which may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position.Recruiting/Onboarding/Offboarding
- Participates in recruiting activities and serves as the assigned recruiter for assigned talent requisitions. This includes managing all required steps of the recruiting process.
- Responds to inquiries from agencies and applicants regarding employment opportunities.
- Leads team member new hire orientations and onboarding programs; ensures completion of all required paperwork.
- Coordinates the exit interview process to include ensuring separating team members have finalized all information before the last day and are prepared for participating in the company's exit interview program. Prepares exit interview feedback reports on a routine basis.
- Prepares various reports including applicant tracking, applicant sourcing, etc.
Learning & Development
- Coordinates learning and development activities including planning and organizing learning and development programs in-person, off-site, virtual and those hosted by third party facilitators.
- Assists with sourcing outside learning and development opportunities as needed to support team member development.
- Communicates and promotes learning and development opportunities to team members as appropriate; maintains current distribution lists.
- Manages the registration process for scheduled classes; reserves and coordinates room set up; gathers and prepares necessary materials; coordinates catering as needed Maintains report databases and learning and development attendance records; tracks measurable program outcomes.
- Develops ad hoc reports and completes monthly learning and development reports from HRIS and other sources.
Miscellaneous
- Handles the payment and budget tracking for numerous departmental invoices and expenses.
- Maintains departmental vendor contract records in the Procurement contract management system (Agiloft).
- Administers company service recognition program through O.C. Tanner.
- Participates in system integration projects as assigned. Makes recommendations for changes to workflow based on system parameters.
- Monitors and reports on routine compliance tracking. Follows up and documents details from team members and managers as needed.
- Updates and maintains HR information on company intranet.
- Maintains and distributes organizational charts on a routine basis.
- Prepares various HR reports including turnover metrics, service milestone recognition, etc.
- Coordinates team member and vendor meetings.
- Coordinates team member ticket sales (i.e., movie tickets, theme park tickets).
- Manages existing and obtains new team member discount programs.
- Manages/order supplies for department as needed.
- Coordinates special events and assists with special HR projects as needed, including Employee Appreciation Day (EAD), and HR team volunteer events.
- Files documents, organizes and maintains HR related files.
- Assists with benefits administration tasks.
- Other tasks as needed.

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSEducation: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred.Experience: Minimum one (1) year experience in a Human Resources department.SKILLS AND ABILITIES Which may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position.
- Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
- Working knowledge of HR systems a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of HR policies and procedures, legal compliance and employment laws.
- Highest level of confidentiality.

- Able to establish a constructive and informative relationship with team members, management, and vendors.
- Able to work independently and exercise good judgment.

SALARY RANGE The specific base salary offered to a successful applicant will be based on individual qualifications, skills, experience and education. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. The position may also be eligible for one or more performance-based bonuses.
