Description We are seeking a proactive HR Director to join our team in WAUCOMA, Iowa. In the wholesale distribution industry, your role will be crucial in managing and guiding the provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for our team.Responsibilities:- Develop and implementHR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy- Design and oversee a comprehensive orientation and training program for employees- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements- Act as a liaison between management and employees, resolving issues and counseling both parties as needed- Maintain and update job descriptions across all positions, ensuring responsibilities and requirements are up to date- Develop and execute effective recruitment, testing, and interviewing programs, providing counsel to managers on candidate selection- Maintain historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records- Maintain detail-oriented knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing detail-oriented publications; establishing personal networks; participating in detail-oriented societies- Foster a positive work environment by listening to employee issues, scheduling management conferences, and providing effective solutions- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Requirements - Significant experience in Benefit Functions within the Wholesale Distribution industry- Excellent Communication skills, able to effectively liaise with all levels of the organization- Proven expertise in Compliance matters, ensuring company adheres to laws and regulations- Experience working with C-Suite executives, providing strategic HR guidance- Strong background in managing Employee Relations and resolving conflicts- Knowledge of Worker's Compensation procedures and related issues- Familiarity with Workers Comp Law and its application in the workplace- Proficient in handling FMLA related matters, ensuring company compliance- Demonstrated ability in Strategic Planning, aligning HR goals with the company's objectivesRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
