The Role: HR Director

As the Human Resources Director, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's people strategy, working closely with leadership to develop and implement HR policies that align with the group's mission of growth and innovation. You will oversee all aspects of human resources, from talent acquisition and onboarding to employee relations and compliance. With the support of an HR Generalist and Payroll Manager, you will ensure the smooth operation of HR functions across multiple fine dining locations, contributing to the success of both existing operations and future expansions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Leadership:
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop HR strategies that support the company's multi-unit growth.
    • Lead workforce planning initiatives, ensuring the company is equipped with the right talent to meet its ambitious goals.
    • Continuously evolve HR policies to reflect the group's values while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
    • Foster a collaborative organizational culture that prioritizes performance, service, and continuous improvement.
  • Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:
    • Drive innovative recruitment strategies that attract top talent, enhancing the prestige of the group's fine dining concepts.
    • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to ensure a diverse and vibrant workforce.
    • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for key roles, proactively sourcing candidates who align with the company's high standards.
  • Employee Lifecycle Management:
    • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience from onboarding through offboarding.
    • Lead performance management processes, helping managers establish clear goals and development opportunities for their teams.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor for employee relations, resolving issues with empathy and professionalism.
  • Compensation, Benefits & Compliance:
    • Design competitive compensation structures that attract and retain top talent.
    • Oversee the administration of employee benefits, ensuring offerings meet the needs of a diverse workforce.
    • Ensure compliance with all legal requirements, updating policies to reflect the latest labor laws.
  • Culture Building & Employee Engagement:

    • Design training and development programs that support professional growth and skill development.
    • Develop retention strategies to keep top talent engaged and committed to the company's long-term vision.

    What We're Looking For:

    We are seeking a highly experienced HR professional who is passionate about both people and hospitality. The ideal candidate will have:

    • Experience: 6+ years in human resources, with at least 1 year in a senior HR leadership role. Experience in the hospitality or fine dining industry is highly preferred.
    • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
    • Certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or SPHR certifications are highly desirable.
    • Skills: Strong HRIS system proficiency, excellent communication abilities, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
