HR Generalist Role:

A dynamic and growing NYC-based hospitality group is looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join their team. This company is known for creating upscale dining experiences that blend luxury, culture, and innovation, with exciting new projects on the horizon. Their venues offer unique culinary journeys, setting new standards for excellence in hospitality.

In this role, you'll be a key player in their HR operations, working closely with the HR Director and Payroll Manager. You'll lead onboarding, support recruitment efforts, manage employee relations, and ensure compliance with company policies and NYC labor laws. This is a full-time, on-site position in Soho and Midtown, ideal for someone passionate about HR and fostering a positive, inclusive work culture.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless integration for new hires.
• Assist in recruitment by posting job ads, reviewing applications, and managing interviews.
• Handle employee relations, fostering a positive work environment and addressing staff concerns.
• Organize HR documentation, ensuring compliance with state laws and company policies.
• Support HR systems, data entry, payroll, and benefits administration.
• Promote employee engagement by supporting recognition programs and celebrating team achievements.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in hospitality or a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with New York labor laws is a plus.
• Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A collaborative team player, ready to contribute in a dynamic environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary range: $75,000 - $85,000 based on experience.
• Medical, dental, and vision benefits (80% covered by the company).
• 401k eligibility upon hire.
