Job Description:

As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a critical role in supporting our employees and management team, ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures, and contributing to the overall success of our organization. Will be a proactive and dedicated HR professional with a passion for fostering a positive work environment in a fast-paced, collaborative setting and possess a comprehensive understanding of HR functions.

We are seeking a full time Human Resources Generalist to join our team! You will perform activities in human resources from recruiting new hires to retaining existing hires.

Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Reports To: Human Resources Director

FLSA Status: Exempt

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR support for company owners, managers, and departments including finance, operations, and HR.
  • Maintain a positive work environment aligned with company values.
  • Ensure compliance with HR regulations such as COBRA, HIPAA, OSHA, Workers' Compensation, and FMLA.
  • Handle recruitment, including pre-screening, interviews, hiring recommendations, and follow-up.
  • Manage employee documentation, including audits, filing, and lifecycle updates.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, file management, and employee evaluations.
  • Support payroll, uniform distribution, and general employee inquiries.
  • Assist with open enrollment for benefits and internal policy updates.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • One year of Human Resources experience minimum.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field (preferred but not required).
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Bilingual
