Join a longstanding legal team that continues to expand in the WNY area as well as other markets to assist on running the HR department.
Youll report to the Human Resources Director and work across talent acquisition, onboarding/offboarding, performance management, enforcement of policies and procedures, employee relations, and personnel record management.
What Youll Be Doing:
You will be responsible for talent acquisition including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding while collaborating with Managers and Leaders to understand required skills and competencies.
Youll be a contributing voice to design and develop HR initiatives and programs along with improvement of new procedures and policies to improve efficiency of HR department, and employee experience.
Assist in organizational development including responsibility clarification, competency development, coaching, etc.
Youll handle employee relations issues including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and improvement plans while also handling inquiries from employees.Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, stay up to date on best practices and regulatory changes, and ensure compliance is met.
