Overview:
Administers policies and programs relating to various phases of human resources activity by performing general HR duties.
Responsibilities:
- Payroll - Performs a number of review duties within the payroll process including: payroll close, payroll distribution, Attendance Tracking, vacation/PPT time and perfect attendance calculations, may review and recommend payroll adjustments, edits time cards for errors
- Perform interview, process and track applicant pool for hiring
- Responsible for tracking all attendance for non-exempt employees and ensure policies are followed in relation to attendance
- Performance Management Provides management with information required to complete and administer performance reviews for the staff. Process Form 100s for approved salary increases
- Assist Managers, Supervisors and employees on interpretation and fair application of policies/procedures to ensure consistency
- Conduct orientation with new hires to provide resourceful information concerning benefits and ergonomics/safety
- Administration and communication of Company Benefit programs
- Provides timely written and verbal communication to management on various Human Resource issues
- Assists with development and implementation of effective reporting systems
- Assists in maintaining the smooth operation of the support area
- Maintains good public relations
- Administration Using eVerify processes I-9 Forms and documentation for accuracy; signs completed I-9s, checks Rehire-Reinstatement Forms, reviews employee referrals and ensures compensation is accurate.
- Maintain concentration and focus in order to meet performance goals

- Maintain good working relationship with assigned supervisors and coworkers

Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED, Associates Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of HR experience is required. Prefer 3-5 years of experience.
Computer Experience:
Must be able to type quickly and accurately, use a mouse effectively, and have a basic understanding of Windows-based operating systems.

- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management/supervising personnel, and subordinates
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, federal regulations, and training manuals
