We offer company events, activities, and opportunities to participate in charitable initiatives that benefit the communities where we are located.www.sms-group.usWhat you'll doResponsible for keeping track of employee records (personal, medical, training, attendance, payroll).Responsible for benefit management including open enrollment.Process time cards in GSS and ADP time and attendance.Assist employees with HR related questions.Administer new employee orientation.Provide consistent disciplinary action when required.Assist employee with concerns (safety, benefits, vacation, harassment issues)Interviewing/recruiting.Responsible for training record keeping.Responsible for claims management including STD/FMLA/WC and tracking.Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.What you'll needBachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
