Job Title: HR GeneralistJob DescriptionThe Human Resource Generalist aids with and facilitates the Human Resource processes at all business locations. This position will undertake a variety of HR administrative duties.
Responsibilities- Assist in the administration of health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Process required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
- Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.
- Complete Forms I-9, verify I-9 documentation, and maintain I-9 files.
- Submit online investigation requests and assist with new-employee background checks.
- Support audits of payroll, benefits, or other HR programs and recommend corrective action.
- Perform orientations and onboarding.
- Assist with the processing of terminations.
- Assist with payroll; Paylocity experience would be great.
- Assist with the preparation of the performance review process.
- Assist with HR projects, such as employee parties and employee feedback surveys.
- Support the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates, conducting initial phone screens, and tracking the process through Paylocity.
- Schedule meetings and interviews as requested by the Director of HR.
- Coordinate training sessions and seminars.
- Assist in reviewing and revising safety policies and safety training.
- File documents into appropriate employee files.
- Assist or prepare correspondence as requested.
- Prepare new-employee files.
- Process mail.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in HR is preferred but not required.
- 3+ years of HR experience.
- Previous experience working in HR for a manufacturing company.
- Paylocity experience is ideal but any payroll processing experience is acceptable.
- High energy with an assertive personality.
Work EnvironmentThis position requires working onsite five days a week, with some flexibility possible in the future. Some travel is required, mostly day trips to other locations on a monthly basis.
