Current have a direct hire opening for an HR Generalist with our client located in Latrobe, PA. This role involves partnering with management to foster a supportive and compliant workplace through effective HR practices. Key Responsibilities
- Advise and support managers and employees on HR issues, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain and enhance employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
- Coordinate and administer HR policies, employee training, evaluations, and records.
- Facilitate HR-related communications, manage employee services, and support company events.
- Participate in regulatory hearings and maintain compliance with legal requirements.
Essential Duties
- Build and strengthen relationships across teams, promoting trust and teamwork.
- Drive policy review and updates, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Manage attendance tracking and employee evaluations for hourly staff.
- Provide support for employee inquiries and issue resolution.
- Administer recognition programs and assist in training development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred; HR certification (PHR, SPHR) a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years in HR, with a focus on employee relations
- Strong knowledge of employment law.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to navigate change and maintain composure under stress.
