There is an opening for an HR Generalist (salary exempt position) based at the ENF Irvine Plant, however, responsibilities include Corry/Warren Plant needs. This position will report to the Human Resources Manager. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Maintain and assist in new employee relation programs, policies and procedures in support of team morale and company philosophies. Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Assists the Human Resources Manager in maintaining legal compliance at all levels. Perform payroll processing responsibilities to include detailed policy support to supervisors and team members. Responsible for maintaining Paid Time Off, FMLA/STD/LTD programs and absence tracking. Plans, coordinates, and executes Wellness Fairs, Random Drug Testing, and other ENF events. Maintains all confidential HR records using an HRIS system and other Human Resource tools. Address benefit issues, claim issues, tracking enrollment data, and maintain files with the health provider as needed. Perform all legal reporting requirements associated with benefits. Responsible for publishing ENF newsletter and social media administration. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Must interact with team members on a personal basis, resolve those topics or refer complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Order and update branded gifts and apparel for the company store. Uphold company policy through dedicated individual behavior to those policies. Other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time to support the business needs MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Four-year BS Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Excellent computer skills with ability to use all Microsoft Office products, HRIS experience preferred.
