Job Description:
Accentuate Staffing is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Generalist with expertise in payroll processing to join a client of ours for a direct hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll administration while also supporting various HR functions such as employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and onboarding.The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below. Key Responsibilities:Process semi-monthly, bi-weekly, or monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Maintain and update payroll records, including employee data, tax information, and benefits deductions.Support recruitment efforts by coordinating job postings, conducting initial screenings, and assisting with interviews as neededMain point of contact for employees regarding HR-related matters.Conduct investigations into employee complaints and concerns.Develop and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws.Work with leadership to develop and implement employee development plans.Manage leave of absence programsCollaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and ensure a smooth onboarding process.Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs.Facilitate training sessions on HR-related topics. Qualifications:BS in Human Resources or related discipline 3+ years of experience in payroll processing and generalist HR responsibilities. Strong knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom, or similar)Advanced knowledge and understanding of HR principles, policies, laws, and procedures, including EEOC guidelines, ADA, and FMLADemonstrated written and oral communication skillsCritical and strategic thinking skillsComputer literate and proficient with Microsoft OfficeExcellent interpersonal skills
