This individual will play a pivotal role in managing employee relations, ensuring seamless payroll and benefits administration, maintaining compliance with local and federal regulations, and supporting performance management and training initiatives. The HR Generalist will collaborate with their international HR team to build HR processes and procedures for their growing US based staff. Description
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Address and resolve employee concerns and conflicts promptly and effectively.
- Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing, collaborating with payroll providers as needed.
- Manage employee benefits programs, including enrollment, education, and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR policies in line with regulatory requirements.
- Support performance review processes, including goal setting, feedback, and development plans.
- Coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and organizational effectiveness.Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of HR experience, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll systems and HRIS platforms.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
