HR Generalist

Position Overview:Our client is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their team and support the entire employee lifecycle in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Reporting to the HR Manager, this role will be instrumental in driving HR processes, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have a passion for people, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage onboarding processes, including pre-employment screenings, employee communications, and orientation programs to ensure an exceptional new hire experience.
  • Support employee relations by addressing concerns, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring alignment with company policies and labor laws.
  • Collaborate with managers to implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with organizational goals.
  • Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, participating in candidate selection, and drafting offer letters.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR systems to ensure compliance with legal and company requirements.
  • Partner with the HR team to communicate organizational initiatives, promote engagement, and support diversity and inclusion efforts.
  • Provide guidance on performance management, employee development, and succession planning.
  • Support benefits administration, including enrollment, communication, and employee inquiries.
  • Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, and assist with audits as needed.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives that drive process improvements and align with the company's strategic objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of HR experience, including generalist responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems such as UKG, ADP, or D365 is a plus.
