Scenic Rivers Health Services is currently seeking a full time HR Generalist at our corporate headquarters in Cook, MN. This position is responsible for HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting designated clinic locations. The HR Generalist will perform routine functions of the Human Resources Department that strategically align with Scenic Rivers Health Services mission to provide quality primary healthcare for every patient at every visit. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm.HR Recruitment Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Recruit various levels of employees such as but not limited to clinical support staff and medical and dental clerical positions.
  • Write job descriptions and place job advertisements in various mediums.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to select potential candidates, conduct interviews and communicate offers of employment.
  • Coordinate and schedule pre-employment screens with new hires; conduct and coordinate new hire orientations.
  • Maintain, track and update the privileging and credentialing documents for licensed professionals.
  • Administer employee benefit plans including enrollments, terminations, and changes; communicates benefit information to employees.
  • Support communications and marketing activities for SRHS including but not limited to designing advertisements, brochures, social media and patient materials.
  • Manage annual employee performance appraisal process including communications with managers, reviewing and ensuring completion.
  • Ensure completion of annual employee trainings within learning management system.
  • Complete and maintain required FMLA paperwork; communicate with employees on leave.
  • Inform employees and enforce company policy and practices.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems.

  • Associate's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 2 or more years of Human Resource experience
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Knowledge and understanding of current employment laws
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Adobe
  • Experience in HRIS, UKG is preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently
Travel to other clinic sites 10% of the time during business hours is required. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
