HR Generalist (Part-time)

A reputable Construction Contracting Firm located in Jupiter Florida is hiring a part-time HR Generalist to join their growing team! As an integral team member you will have the responsibility to implement processes and procedures and the opportunity to build their HR department. The position will start as part-time and will have the ability to grow into a full time position. The ideal candidate will reside in Jupiter or the surrounding areas. Onboarding will take place in office and onsite however, the position will than be remote from your home office.Responsibilities:Monitor HR budget and perform payroll duties and distribution.Conduct employee evaluations.Assist with employee onboarding procedures.Update records to accommodate new hires.Develop employee benefit programs and ideas to motivate employees.Write reports on HR department activities.Stay up to date with new HR trends.Administer compensation and benefit plansConduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiativesProvide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arisePromote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplaceAssist in development and implementation of human resource policiesUndertake tasks around performance managementOrganize quarterly and annual employee performance reviewsMaintain employee files and records in electronic and paper formRequired Skills:Proven experience as an HR GeneralistUnderstanding of general human resources policies and proceduresGood knowledge of employment/labor lawsOutstanding knowledge of MS Office & HRIS systemsExcellent communication and people skillsAptitude in problem-solvingDesire to work as a team with a results driven approachExcellent OrganizationMaintain Confidentiality, Compassion & CreativityQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related area3+ years' of experience working in Human Resources, ideally in Construction or Real EstateBi-Lingual (English and Spanish) a huge plus
