HR Generalist/Payroll - Elmhurst, IL
$80,000 - $90,000/Annually - Full benefits, PTO, company sponsored events, etc.

Our HR Generalist/Payroll team member is the main contact responsible for processing payroll and administering benefits and retirement programs. The individual will build strong working relationships with onsite leadership and cultivate a strong, safe and motivating culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for processing weekly, bi-weekly and ad-hoc multi-state payroll, including garnishments, benefits, and taxes for over 200 employees.
- Responsible for benefits administration and enrollments in the HRIS providing accurate eligibility information.
- Perform annual projects, regular audits and quality checks of company, employment, and benefit related data to ensure compliance.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge and keep current legislative changes to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pay and employment laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with HR team members and communicate, facilitate, and champion HR programs and company-wide initiatives such as corporate communication, employee engagement and recognition programs.
- Support leave-of-absence requests and be responsible for disability paperwork following FMLA laws and company policies.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years' experience processing (100+) multi-state payroll and benefits administration.
- Experience supporting a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and exercise good judgment and discretion in handling and disseminating information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness.
- Proficient in HRIS and payroll systems, and comfortable learning new technology.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
