POSITION: HR Intern - Analytics

HOURS: 20 hrs/wk during school; 40 hrs/wk during breaks

REPORTS TO: Payroll and Benefits Manager

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

As an human resources intern - analytics, you'll be responsible for report generation, data analytics, managing projects, and assisting with benefits and payroll administration.

As an human resources intern - analytics, you'll learn various Human Resources functions, which will lead you to work without close supervision, produce quality work, and handle special projects independently. The environment involves a high level of varied activity, along with frequent interruptions. These skills will prepare you for your future career in Human Resources.

Here's what a typical day might look like. (These are the essential functions of the job). Other duties may be assigned.

* Demonstrate the eight core principles that guide every 4imprint teammate on a daily basis: Honesty, Curiosity, Collaboration, Flexibility, Accountability, Empathy, Positive Attitude, Humility.

* Responsible for consistently meeting and maintaining performance objectives and/or goals.

* Compile HR data and metrics from the human resource information system (HRIS).

* Draw conclusions from large data sets utilizing Pivot tables and other tools.

* Analyze position descriptions and job responsibilities to assist with classifications.

* Gather research and benchmark data to provide recommendations and support decision making regarding jobs, compensation, and benefits.

* Provide thorough data analysis to assist with crucial decision making.

* Distribute benefit, payroll, and other information to associates.

* Administer tuition reimbursement program.

* Reconcile monthly invoices.

* Prepare and process paperwork for qualifying event changes.

* Assist associates with questions regarding payroll, benefit issues, or interpreting company policy.

* File a wide variety of forms into personnel/medical files.

* Prepare informational materials to be hung around the building and displayed on various forms of media.

* Contribute to the weekly newsletter as needed.

* Must maintain utmost level of confidentiality due to the sensitivity of the work in this department.

Required education/experience:

* Actively pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree in human resources, business, data science, or a related degree.

* Proficiency in data processing, MS Outlook, Word, Teams, and Excel.

* Knowledge of state and federal employment laws helpful.
