Our Client is a large established technologically advanced Coffee Group that is making its highly anticipated entry to North America. It has been known to use technology to redefine convenience for busy urban dwellers while retaining a core emphasis on making premium beverages accessible to everyone, where they are continuously adapting their offerings and services to meet evolving consumer preferences.
As the pioneering member for the US operations, this role is responsible for leading the set up of the US business to support their expansion plans across the country. Responsibilities are wide and highly involving, such as creating and implementing HR strategies and policies that align with company goals & growth plans. The span includes the full range of manpower planning & costing, growth hiring, entity set up, employee relations, employment laws, to designing competitive compensation and benefits plans.
The successful candidate shall come with at least 10 years of relevant experience in Human Resources in a fast moving tech driven retail environment, including 5+ years in a senior management role. This newly created position will be a challenging yet fulfilling opportunity for someone who thrives in setting things up from 0 to 1, has the ability to work independently and is resourceful. Fluency in Mandarin can aid in facilitating collaboration with a wider range of stakeholders. Overseas travel may be required for training and head office meetings.
