We also offer company-provided short-term disability, an employee assistance program, and a wellness program.Position Overview:The HR Leave of Absence (LOA) Coordinator assists with administering the end-to-end process of all leave of absence programs, ensuring employees are assisted promptly and maintaining compliance with leave of absence (LOA) and employment laws, including administration of all state and federal leaves of absence programs. This role supports and acts as a liaison for employees between insurance providers and third-party benefit administrators.Job Responsibilities:* Serve as the main point of contact for employees and managers regarding leave of absence policies and procedures; assist employees with leave-related inquiries and issues, providing guidance and support.* Align with the payroll team regarding leaves of absence, including but not limited to elimination periods within state and company requirements.* Identify opportunities to leverage vendor capabilities to support employees and overall process improvements for CCM benefits, potentially leading to significant enhancements.* Assist with Workers' Compensation claims, including but not limited to True reporting, incident reporting, and initial assessment reporting.* Partner with the HR Team to discuss and determine the following steps on leaves that have exhausted state and federal entitlements.* Review LOA case information to determine eligibility and gather relevant information in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, identify the appropriate leave type for the situation and open new cases.* Coordinate and escalate all leave of absence queries received by employees; advocate on behalf of employees while enhancing leave processes to ensure streamlining throughout the organization.* Maintain Workday records by ensuring accurate leave processing and auditing of leave types.* Collaborate with HR, management, and employees to ensure smooth transitions before, during, and after leaves of absence, notify management of employee leave status and expected return dates.* Establish return-to-work plans, including accommodations, if necessary, assist with managing accommodations in accordance with the Americans with Disability Act (ADA).Qualifications and Skills:* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, relevant field, and/or equivalent combination of education/experience.* Experience in HR operations and working knowledge of best practices, preferred.* Experience with HR software (HRIS), preferred.* Familiarity with current employment rules and regulations.* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.* Advanced communication and time management skills to meet deadlines.* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the job and the general nature and level of work performed by job holders within this job.
