Job Description:
Join our client's dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their organization. We are seeking a highly motivated HR Manager who will be instrumental in developing and executing HR strategies that align with business goals and foster employee growth and development. This is a hybrid position headquartered in Schenectady, NY.Responsibilities of the HR Manager will include:
  • Craft and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that reflect the company's objectives and core values.
  • Ensure strict adherence to labor laws and company policies, staying updated on changes in employment legislation.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to both management and staff, offering guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management issues.
  • Design and administer performance management systems, including setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and creating career development plans.
  • Lead and manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive and aligned with industry standards and employee expectations.
  • Promote a positive work environment and strengthen company culture through initiatives that enhance employee engagement and well-being.
  • Leverage HR metrics and analytics to make informed, data-driven decisions that enhance HR processes and practices.
  • Oversee the entire recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to onboarding, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent.
  • Develop effective retention strategies to reduce turnover and support employee career progression.
Job RequirementsQualifications of the HR Manager:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR leadership role, preferably within the software/technology industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Strategic mindset with the capability to translate business needs into actionable HR initiatives and programs.
  • Relevant HR certifications are preferred.
