Description
Responsibilities of the HR Manager include:
HR Infrastructure Management:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive HR framework that complies with local labor laws, industry regulations, and company standards.
- Manage labor contracts, ensuring timely renewals and compliance.
- Oversee contributions to the Central Provident Fund (CPF) system and ensure accuracy in payroll-related processes.
- Maintain and update HR databases, including employee records, to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Assist in creating and enforcing company policies and procedures that align with legal requirements and industry best practices.
Office Administration and Operations:
- Supervise office leasing processes, negotiate terms with landlords, and manage relationships with service providers.
- Oversee office supplies procurement and inventory management to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Coordinate the maintenance and repair of office equipment and facilities to ensure a well-functioning work environment.
- Handle other facility-related matters such as security, cleaning, and utilities to promote efficient operations.
Employee Relations and Documentation:
- Manage all documentation related to employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, internal transfers, and job rotations.
- Ensure smooth processing of work permits and visas for foreign employees in compliance with legal requirements.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, contracts, and general workplace concerns.
Recruitment and Onboarding Support:
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment by posting job advertisements, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews with hiring managers.
- Ensure new employees have a smooth transition by organizing their onboarding, including orientation, access to resources, and introductions to relevant teams.
- Collaborate with managers to ensure new hires are equipped with the tools and information needed to succeed from day one.
Employee Benefits and Welfare Programs:
- Design, plan, and manage welfare and benefits programs that meet employee needs while aligning with company objectives.
- Organize initiatives such as health insurance, wellness activities, and other perks to attract and retain talent.
- Regularly assess employee feedback to enhance benefit offerings and maintain competitive, meaningful packages.
Profile
Qualifications of the HR Manager include:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in HR and administrative functions, with a track record of success in similar roles. Ideally within Financial Services, Hedge Fund, Banking.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in both English and Mandarin, with strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively across teams and cultures.
- Proactive and Ownership Mindset: Demonstrated ability to take initiative, solve problems independently, and proactively manage responsibilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using HR management software and tools, along with strong command of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Attention to Detail and Confidentiality: Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage sensitive information discreetly and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Job Offer
- Base salary range $90,000 - $120,000
