HR Manager Needed in Northport, AL. Duties
- Administers Human Resources policies, programs and practices
- Manages recruitment process including advertisement strategies, interviewing, hiring and applicant processing
- Represents the organization at external job fairs, networking and speaking engagements
- Conducts new hire orientation and ensures required training is completed by employees
- Oversees the maintenance of personnel/medical files, I-9 and background, drug and DMV check files
- Builds solid relationships with Leaders at all levels
- Prepares all necessary termination paperwork and ensures exit interviews are conducted for voluntary departures from the organization
- Ensures compliance with federal, state and local labor laws to reduce potential for litigation
- Maintains a presence with employees by attending pre-shift and department meetings as well as analyzing surveys about the organization from newly hired employees
- Oversees preparation and maintenance of job descriptions
- Oversees the planning and coordination of employee communications and events for recruitment efforts
- Handles and investigates any Employee Relations issues
- Undertakes special projects as required

Background
- A minimum of 2-4 years human resources experience
- Must have a minimum education level of:BA/BS degree (4 year)
- Proficient in Google systems and HRIS implementations
