Our client, UND Aerospace Foundation located in Mesa, Arizona, has a career opportunity for a highly motivated, hands-on individual as their HR MANAGER . This position is responsible for directing and implementing HR policies and practices that will attract and retain their top talent. Core job responsibilities include recruiting the best and brightest, developing and facilitating HR-related trainings, oversight of the organization's performance management and compensation programs and counseling organization leaders and employees on HR/employment matters. The HR Manager will be responsible for all employment-related policies and practices to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business and/or Human Resources, with a PHR and/or SHRM certification preferred. A minimum of five (5) years of HR experience is required with strong knowledge of federal and Arizona state employment law. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to speak with individuals at all levels of the organization is essential Proficiency with computer programs, including MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint), payroll systems and the internet is necessary. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
