Job Description:
Pay $17.50-$18.50 depending upon qualifications

Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

General Overview: Under the direction of the Human Resource Manager and Supervisor, primary responsibilities include providing administrative services to assist in areas of coordinating and processing tasks and functions related to employee relations, safety, and recruitment for the Human Resource Department. This position deals with various groups as well as internal and external candidates at all levels of the organization. Access to and possession of information pertaining to employer/employee information requires the utmost understanding of confidentiality and security.

Principal and Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safety Slogan notifications, Bingo email, equipment checklist review
  • Assist applicants with online application and onboarding process
  • Assist with New Hire Orientation, bar codes, employee badges
  • Assist with passing out supplies to Team Members
  • Assist with candidate pre-hire assessments and scheduling pre-hire screening/physical
  • Maintain HR Department Files
  • Order meals for employee relations activities and meetings
  • Create fliers and update bulletin boards
  • Assist with absentee and tardy call-line report
  • Assist with completing the PNFs for payroll
  • Safety Slogan notifications, Bingo email, equipment checklist review
  • Assist with other HR administrative tasks as needed

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years human resources admin experience a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle tasks, documents, and materials with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow directions, work quickly, and accurately.
  • Self-motivated individual with ability to work independently or as a team.
  • High sense of urgency and ability to be very flexible with routine changes.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Strong Computer Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Word/Excel/PowerPoint and Outlook skills
  • Basic ERP and online recruiting software utilization, knowledge and experience

Essential Physical Requirements of the Position:

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to operate a PC for 30 hours per week.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to work in an office setting.
  • Ability to work where the climate may be very hot, very cold, etc.
