QualificationsBachelors degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in an HR or related role focused on onboarding or employee experience preferred. Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices specific to I-9 and E-Verify. Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Strong interpersonal communication skills. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities - Manage the preparation and processing of new hires in the human resources information system (HRIS).
- Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of personnel files, including I-9 forms, background checks, and drug testing documentation.
- Must ensure that all policies and procedures are followed.
- Review HRIS to identify and resolve errors or inconsistencies related to new hire preparation and processing.
- Provide support to new hire employees with self-service inquiries or issues related to the HRIS.
- Collaborate on writing and updating accurate job descriptions for active roles within the organization.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
