About the role:

The HR Payroll and Data Analyst is responsible for performing HR and Payroll related duties and helps to identify and provide solutions. Oversee and audit the daily/weekly/bi-weekly Payroll operations; research, evaluate and ensure that payroll issues and discrepancies are resolved in a proper and timely manner; and maintain and update in HR/Payroll System. Research, analyze, and retrieve data to prepare and maintain complex payroll records, summaries and reports; reconcile differences within established payroll, benefit, retirement, and accounting systems using critical analysis skills; interpret, explain, and comply with negotiated contracts, prescribed laws, & rules.This role will report into the VP, Compensation Manager.

Duties and responsibilities of the job include the following (but is not limited too):

  • Execute end-to-end payroll processing in conjunction with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) Comprehensive Services Payroll.
  • Process ADP transactions including hiring, termination and transfer processes, along with organizational changes
  • Point person for the ADP Workforce Now (WFN) Comprehensive Services Payroll solution.
  • Assists in the development of process and data controls to ensure data quality/data integrity within ADP Workforce Now Payroll system.
  • Analyzes, prepares and inputs payroll data to include garnishments, vacation time, sick time, insurance and 401(k) deductions. Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
  • Participate in ad hoc special projects (i.e. Affirmative Action Plan coordination, annual HR trainings)
  • Maintain employee data and transactions in HR systems. Complete data audits across multiple systems, to ensure data integrity.
  • Provide additional support to benefit operations as needed including, but not limited to, ensuring invoices are paid in a timely fashion, and changes are processed correctly with Payroll and vendors
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll and benefits processes.
  • Maintains company organizational charts
  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred experience, education, and qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with ADP WFN and knowledge of payroll processing
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Perform quality work within determined timeframes.
  • Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees, departments, divisions, etc.
  • Work on ad-hoc tasks, assignments and projects as needed.
  • Interact professionally with other employees, customers, vendors and shareholders.

Potential Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 annually

This salary range only reflects base wages and does not include benefits, bonus, or incentive pay. Salary bands are purposefully wide ranging to encompass the different factors considered in determining where a candidate falls in the range, including but not limited to, seniority, performance, experience, education, and any other legitimate, non-discriminatory factor permitted by law.
