WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR CPP is looking for an ambitious and self-driven individual to join our HR/Talent Acquisition Team based out of our Euclid, OH location. The HR/Recruiting Assistant would provide support to our Talent Acquisition Specialist regarding full cycle recruiting efforts, including but not limited to assisting with proactive recruiting, screening resumes, conducting phone interviews, scheduling in-person interviews, data & analytics tracking, and working within our applicant tracking system. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist the Talent Acquisition Specialist with every-day recruiting activities.
  • Review job requisitions and job descriptions to better understand hiring needs.
  • Pre-Screen applicants and resumes in our Applicant Tracking System.
  • Update & Maintain Applicant Tracking System and Recruiting Spreadsheets as needed.
  • Connect with candidates via email, text, and/or phone to coordinate & perform phone interviews.
  • Schedule pre-screened candidates via Microsoft Office for on-site/in-person interviews with hiring managers.
  • Communicate timely, efficiently, and professionally with candidates as well as internal staff members on recruiting needs, updates, and/or requests.
  • Update & maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly recruiting metrics.
  • Collaborate with members of the HR team on other projects & duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field, or 1-3 years relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience: Prior experience with recruitment, talent acquisition, or other HR functions preferred.
  • Schedule: Ability to work 20-25 hours per week.
  • Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Detail oriented with strong analytical skills. Ability to multitask. Excellent time management. Proficient Microsoft Office skills (word, office, excel, etc.). Strong organizational skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
  • Cubicle/Office Setting within a Manufacturing Environment. May require occasional trips to the shop floor.
  • Physical Demands: Sitting/standing for extended periods of time. Extended periods of time using a computer screen. Extended periods of time using a keyboard.
  • Required PPE: Check for required PPE in areas you may be working in.
  • Safety Glasses: Needed in all areas of the plant.
  • Steel toe shoes: Needed in all areas of the plant.
