We look for colleagues who Care, Dare and Deliver.JOB SUMMARY:The primary function of the HR Representative is to assist the Human Resources Manager and the HR Specialist in administering various human resource programs, including, but not limited to Attendance, Employee Relations, Compensation, Records Retention, Benefits, Worker's Compensation, Short and Long Term Disability, Recruitment, policies and procedures, Employee Opinion survey administration, communications, retirement preparation, and company events for all employees while ensuring compliance with applicable Federal and State labor laws.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Responsible for hourly recruiting process (develop and place recruitment ads, schedule interviews, make recommendations for hiring candidates, conduct background/reference checks and place job offers.) Schedule all new hire employee orientations. Assist with the administration of various employee-health, welfare, EAP, and retirement plans plant wide. Strive to ensure employees understanding of benefit programs by regularly generating communication and counseling employees/dependents. Perform administrative HR tasks. Respond to employees and manager enquiries ensuring that the information provided is accurate and complete. Maintains employee records manually or in a payroll information system so that information is accurate and secure. Maintain open communication with all employees through postings on employee information board, responding to employee questions and fostering positive employee relations.
