GAF's Rotational Program is a 2-year program designed to develop high-potential talent into future HR leaders. The program accelerates the development of recent graduates to leaders, capable of meeting the growing challenges facing our company. In GAF's program, the candidate will work collaboratively with key leaders across the HR Organization and will have the opportunity to work on major projects and strategic initiatives.

Essential Duties

Rotations will be determined through business needs, candidate interest, and mentor guidance. The position will be based in our corporate headquarters in Parsippany, NJ. Candidates will have a dedicated manager and mentor to support their development and technical training as they cultivate their leadership and technical skills. They will have the opportunity to establish a network of peers and mentors, gain visibility of high-level leadership, and work on projects that drive significant value to GAF.

These rotational assignments are supplemented by various training courses throughout the two-year program taught and led by internal and external resources. Training courses provide overviews of the various functions within GAF and follow a robust and interactive curriculum that helps develop participants on key competencies such as problem-solving, critical thinking skills, technical skills, business knowledge, teamwork, and leadership. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently or as part of a team, be well organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Under This Roof, We Require:
  • Four-year degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Previous internship or co-op related experience in human resources
Under This Roof, We Also Value:
  • Previous internship or co-op related experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of HR concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Analytical and statistical knowledge
  • Knowledge of computerized HRIS systems, G-Suite, and AODocs
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
