DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Recruiting and Onboarding
- Advertise open positions appropriately
- Source and screen qualified applicants
- Schedules all pre-employment screening for candidates
- Track recruitment progress and costs for all plant staff openings
2. Onboarding/Orientation
- Assist with onboarding and orientation
- Provide training on systems/software used at the facility
- Ensure new hires are provided what they need for their 1st day
3. Teammate Communications
- Assist with posting and maintaining teammate communications and communicating items to the managers and supervisors team.
- Support the HR Generalist by being available to teammates for questions
- Help teammates understand policies, procedures and culture
- Be available to teammates for questions, including potentially at other local facilities
- Communicate with HR Generalist -questions, issues, concerns, policy exception requests, abuse of policies, compliance concerns, challenges, etc.
4. Provides benefits related administrative support and project management
- Creates and distributes benefits notices and other communications for teammates
- Provides support for open enrollment meetings and enrollment at the facilities
- Performs benefits audits
- Assists with benefits compliance projects and processes
5. Retention
- Conducts exit interviews as needed
- Assists with material planning and preparation
- Support HR Generalist teammate engagement efforts
6. All other duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to work with a variety of software application programs, including UKG, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to correctly retrieve and input data in computer
- Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to research, reason and effectively resolve problems
- Must be able to work independently, take initiative, organize and prioritize
- Ability to exercise judgement and discretion in completing assignments which may include sensitive or confidential information
- Knowledge of HR functions, laws, regulations, and trends

Formal education may be substituted with experience and training when competency in the position is demonstrated.
