Seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Generalist to join the Parker Meggitt team in a manufacturing environment. The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in managing employee relations, talent management, and leadership development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources within a manufacturing setting and possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. Roles and Responsibilities Employee Relations: • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to employees and managers. • Investigate and resolve employee complaints and conflicts, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures. • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution strategies. Talent Management: • Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees. • Develop and implement talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent within the organization. • Support performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to employees to support their professional growth. Leadership Development: • Identify leadership development needs and design programs to enhance leadership skills across the organization. • Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors on leadership best practices and employee management techniques. • Facilitate training sessions and workshops to promote leadership development and continuous improvement. HR Administration: • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation. • Oversee benefits administration, including enrollment, claims resolution, and communication of benefit plans to employees. Qualifications and Education Requirements • High School Diploma OR GED • Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on employee relations, talent management, and leadership development. • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a PLUS. • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of the organization. • Proven leadership and team management abilities. • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and MUST HAVE PeopleSoft experience. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is a plus. • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives. Pay Range: The pay range for this position is $ 28 .00 - $31.00/hr; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
