Eligibility begins on YOUR VERY FIRST DAY OF EMPLOYMENT.Exemption TypeExemptEducationHigh School DiplomaJob DescriptionYRCI is seeking full-time Human Resource (HR) Specialists to support our HR Remote Operations Center (HRROC™), located in Reston, VA. YRCI's HRROC™ is a Shared Service Center that supports multiple Federal agencies and offers a friendly, collaborative team environment with access to training from industry experts!Although the YRCI home office is located in Reston, VA, this position is fully remote.This position will support our client through various HR activities to include, but not limited to: processing noncompetitive hiring actions (commonly Schedule A hires for disability, agency specific hiring authorities, and Attorney positions), PAR actions, change of duty station requests, relocation and incentives, security upgrades, details, classification, off boarding, vacancy tracking and updating, reorganization and restructuring advisory services, pathways intern support, maintaining Salesforce, student loan repayments, leave enhancements, superior qualifications, and Sharepoint updates.
  • Submit HR related tickets and actions for classification, recruitment, and processing; requires a high level of attention to detail to ensure documents are signed and completed.
  • Support the hiring manager in the classification of Position Descriptions (PD).
  • Assist the hiring manager in the development of job analyses prior to submission to HR for recruitment.
  • Support the hiring manager in the strategic conversation to establish the most effective recruitment methods.
  • Utilize HR systems to submit Personnel Action Request (PAR) actions to HR for processing to include: noncompetitive hiring actions (commonly Schedule A hires for disability, agency-specific hiring authorities, and Attorney positions), PAR actions, change of duty station requests, relocation and incentives, security upgrades, details, student loan repayments, and leave enhancements.)
    • Track, collect, and develop data and information for one or more of the following areas:
    • HR related data calls.
    • A-123 payroll audits.
    • HR related audits.
    • Performance appraisal audits.
  • Support onboarding and off boarding of employee activities such as:
    • Ensuring paperwork is completed.
    • Entering employees into Employee Manager database.
    • Assisting with badge appointments, network access, Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) issuance.
    • Coordinating exit activities (badge collection, debriefings, CD-126).
Job Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Apply and interpret Federal HR laws, policies, and agency-specific operating procedures.
  • Experience in classification, staffing, and/or processing of Federal HR actions.
  • Experience with HR systems such as HRConnect, USAStaffing, and the National Finance Center.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude to foster collaboration, motivate others and build effective relationships with clients and managers.
  • Attention to detail, data quality, and data integrity.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • BS/BA degree highly preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the government-required security clearance.
  • Must have a strong background in supporting an HR office who recruits and onboards SES (executive resources) and political appointees
