We are also passionate about the safety of our entrepreneurs, a culture that promotes safety, innovation, growth, a bias for action, and building trust.Business Job Title: HR Talent Acquisition Intern Job Summary:Join Broan as an HR Talent Acquisition Intern and gain valuable business exposure, while working in a fast-paced, progressive HR department that emphasizes providing strong employee experience with ongoing focus on continuous improvement.This role will focus on providing talent acquisition support and learning the day-to-day operations of the HR department. Additionally, the role will have opportunities to support a variety of responsibilities in HR initiatives.Job Responsibilities:
  • Support the salaried and hourly recruitment processes including requisition creation, candidate screening and facilitation of the pre-employment screening process.
  • Maintain applicant tracking system and observe initial hiring manager intake process.
  • Ownership of some hourly requisitions including phone interviews and hiring manager support.
  • Provide superior customer service to employees when assisting to resolve general employee questions & concerns.
  • Assist with special projects that are geared towards improving employee experience and solving business challenges, such as Open Enrollment, best-in-class recruitment practices and event coordination.
  • Provide other HR related support as needed to include onboarding preparation, document revisions, report preparation etc.
Job Requirements:
  • Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Human Resource Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field with at least Sophomore level status.
  • Successful academic record
  • Conscientious and assertive with the ability to drive projects to completion
  • Strong skills in MS Office & PowerPoint.
  • Proven experience in conducting Internet research.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • High degree of accuracy, care and attention to detail
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to travel safely to all areas of the office and plant as needed, with or without accommodation
  • Perform work using a computer for extended periods of time
