Overview:
The HSE Systems Analyst will provide front-line support for the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of corporate HSE systems, tools, and applications. This role requires strong technical expertise, communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure system functionality and user satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Support coordination and completion of assistance tasks, incident resolution, and enhancement requests for HSE systems and applications.
- Test and approve HSE system enhancements, bug fixes, and Operational Data Store (ODS) integrations.
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships through regular communication, notifications, and development of user resources.
- Develop and deliver training for accessing and navigating HSE systems and applications.
- Identify and recommend improvements for user interfaces, accessibility, and functionalities of HSE systems.
- Drive continuous improvement of HSE processes and procedures through specific projects and system enhancements.
- Gather and document system requirements for bug fixes, enhancements, and new integrations.
- Coordinate feedback sessions with HSE system users to prioritize necessary system improvements.
- Validate and verify HSE metrics in OPC (Operational Performance Center) and other business unit HSE reports.
- Support the application of new technologies to improve HSE systems and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in safety, health, environmental, business administration, or management information systems.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Experience using SQL to troubleshoot issues, create dashboards, and test new development.
- Proven experience resolving information management system issues.
- Basic understanding of local, state, and federal HSE regulations.
- Preferred experience with Intelex; experience with other HSE software systems (e.g., Enablon, Cority) will be considered.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Spotfire, or Tableau (preferred).
- Experience with form development applications (e.g., TrueContext) is a plus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug, hair follicle, MVR, agility and fit for duty.
- Physical Requirements - Capable of lifting up to 35 pounds. Frequently stationary for extended periods, with occasional office movement. Regular computer use, including typing and viewing screens.
