POSITION: HSU Workstudy Undergraduate Enrollment Student AmbassadorDEPARTMENT: Enrollment ManagementSUPERVISOR TITLE: Coordinator of Visit ExperienceFLSA STATUS: Non-ExemptLOCATION: AbileneTARGET HIRE DATE: 9/11/2024CONTACT INFORMATION: Kimber Morgan at ...@hsutx.edu.SUMMARY/SCOPE: Assist in the establishmentand maintenance of relationships with HSU's prospective students.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead campus tours for prospective students and families.Kindly greet all campus guests and provide HSU hospitality.Communicate orally and in writing with prospective students.Assist with campus visit events such as daily visits and previews.Work closely with admissions staff on special projects related to prospective student recruitment.Provide information with accuracy and professionalism.Assist admissions staff with mailouts, phone calls and other duties related to recruitment.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Must be a current student enrolledat Hardin-Simmons University. Workingknowledge of basic communication and research techniques is required.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position spends a considerable amount of time on its feeteither walking the campus or within the Welcome Center.
