Join Our Innovative Program Development Team We are looking for a Program Coordinator to join our Program Development team! This role will report to the Director of the Building Performance Hub. This is a brand-new program allowing the Coordinator to grow their skills and experience along with the Hub and CEE as a whole. The program coordinator will specifically lead coordination of a statewide Minnesota Building Performance Hub and conduct a wide range of activities to ensure that we achieve our program goals, connecting building owners, managers, and contractors across the state of Minnesota to a path to decarbonization that aligns with our statewide climate change goals. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, self-directed, and proactive in their approach to work. The program coordinator needs to be agile and goal-oriented as they assist with the launch and coordination of the Building Performance Hub at CEE, and possess superior people skills, as well as excellent written and oral communication. They will have a team-oriented approach and be willing to complete administrative tasks as well as step up and take on higher responsibilities when needed. - Support the launch and coordination of programs in the PD department.
- Coordinate project tasks, following up with partners to keep project pieces moving and meet deadlines
- Track and report on program activities, budget, and impacts.
- Assist program coordination through scheduling, planning, and notetaking.
Engagement and outreach:
- Conduct direct outreach to a wide variety of stakeholders including the Hub's Advisory Committee, other partners, and customers.
- Present program information in a compelling way.
- Coordinate the planning, logistics, and delivery of community-facing events and workshops.
Writing and content development:
- Develop communication content across multiple channels, including printed content, online content, presentations, and other program resources.
- Research and develop program reports and recommendations for improvements.
Other duties as assigned or apparent. Skills, Experience, & Knowledge We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent years of experience in relevant field required.
- 2 years of previous experience in coordinator or similar role required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to craft clear and compelling deliverables.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and on a variety of tasks.
- Exceptional organization and time management skills and the ability to prioritize.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and educate groups of stakeholders and strong public speaking skills.
- Strong competency with Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint and Excel required.
- Hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to attend meetings and off-site events in communities, including transportation of materials and equipment as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in administration or project management preferred.
- Experience or education in one of the following fields: business, policy, government, and/or sustainable buildings.
Working Conditions
- Some travel mostly within Minnesota, expected to account for about 5% of working hours.
- Attending some meetings and events on evenings and weekends will be expected.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, outcome-driven environment with responsibilities to meet deadlines and program goals.
Compensation
- Dependent on qualifications and experience, we expect the compensation range for this position will be $25-$26.50per hour.
