The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As an HR Administrator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Collaborating cross functionally to ensure onboarding and offboarding success for employees.
- Advising on generally defined procedures and disciplines such as benefits, compensation, staffing, employee relations, operations, etc.
- Implements systems related to specific job functions and processes.
- Supports plant leadership team with reporting and Workday accuracy including payroll processes.
- Supports employees with assistance with various requests.
- Appling experience and knowledge of general HR and company policies and practices.
- Serves as main employee contact for general subject matter that includes: payroll, benefits, recruiting, disability and other HR related day to day questions and issues; supporting external staffing procedures including administering testing, coordinating interviews, community affairs programs, various company events throughout the year, etc.
- Willingness to be a back up for other administrative support.
- Willingness to be flexible for all other duties as assigned.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED from AND Five (5) years of customer service, HR or other relevant experience in a private, public, government or military environment
OR
- Bachelor's degree in a related field AND Two (2) years of customer service, HR or other relevant experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Five (5) years of HR experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Skills include knowledge of general HR practices and laws, Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Excel and Word, Workday, customer service, good coordinating, analytical, verbal and written communication and interpersonal communication skills, team player.
