- Payroll Administration
- Process weekly and biweekly payroll accurately and on time
- Enter and maintain employee pay information, including salaries, hourly rates, bonuses, deductions, and withholdings
- Ensure proper processing of payroll taxes and benefit deductions
- Handle multi-state payroll filings as needed
- Post employment advertisements
- OSHA: Oversee and responsible for Safety reviews and compliance
- Unemployment insurance
Benefits Administration - Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies
- Conduct benefits orientations and enrollment for employees
- Assist employees with benefits inquiries and claims issues
- Coordinate with benefits vendors and partners
HR Functions - Maintain employee records and HR information systems
- Implement employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Conduct background checks and employment verifications
- Assist with employee relations issues
- Maintain job descriptions
- Timely performance reviews by managers
