Position: Kroc Center HR Asst II Location/Dept.: The Salvation Army Kroc Center (SAKC), Philadelphia, PA Availability: Immediate Schedule: Full Time Reporting Relationship: Human Resource Ministry Director Salary: $21.15-$25.00 Grade: 77

Responsibilities:

Position Description: The Human Resources Assistant II (HRA II) will assist the Kroc Center HR Ministry Director in coordinating the overall efforts and management of the RJKCCCs personnel function. The HRA II will provide support to the Kroc Centers Human Resources Department by maintaining accurate employment records, efficient processes, timely communications, assuring compliance with all pertinent laws, administering policy as directed by Divisional Headquarters, and completing specific routine tasks.

Qualifications:

Requirements: Bachelors degree (Human Resources or related field preferred) non-profit experience.

The successful candidate will possess two years progressive administrative experience, preferably in the HR field. This role requires the ability to communicate clearly in English, orally and in writing; superior interpersonal/relational skills. Must possess excellent clerical and computer skills e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Detail oriented. This position requires the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Must possess the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment; work well under pressure to meet deadlines; be self-motivated in order to complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner. As a Mandated Reporter, must provide proof of having completed training on recognizing and reporting child abuse, meeting the training standards of PA Act 153 of 2014 within 30 days of employment with recurrent training required every five years thereafter. Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153 to include PA Child Abuse History. Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record Check. Must have an understanding of and appreciation for the Mission Statements of The Salvation Army and the RJKCCC.
