Reporting to the Corporate Director of Human Resources, this role will partner with agency leaders and the Human Resources department to promote and implement department initiatives, human resources projects and process improvement initiatives.Essential Duties and Functions of Role
- Report on all information pertaining to all key indicators.
- Function with autonomy, diplomacy and professionalism within the guidelines established by this organization.
- Promote the fiscal well-being of this organization and report any concerns to the Sr. Human Resources Business Partner
- Administer the principles of short- and long-range planning to anticipate and avoid issues.
- Act as a liaison, Team Leader and communication link to Apis staff.
- Provide Human Resources support to Apis staff within the region.
- Support to the Benefits Team as needed
- Advises both employees and management regarding policies, procedures, and documentation
- Properly identifies, makes recommendations, and effectively resolves routine and complex employee relations issues in a timely manner
- Experience with HRIS, internet sourcing, ATS, and payroll systems (i.e., Paylocity, ADP WorkforceNow, iCIMS) is required so that the HRBP prepare Key Performance indexes, maintain workforce data, and manage the workforce skills with the current HR systems.
- Advises both employees and management regarding policies, procedures, and documentation
- Implement disciplinary guidelines, apply policies and procedures consistently to all employees.
- Be available for meetings (scheduled and unscheduled) and provide feedback appropriately.
- Function with the highest esteem in dealing with all employees, clients and consumers of this organization.
- Complete termination and post-employment process within 48 hours of terminations.
- Attend unemployment hearings as needed.
- Understand and be knowledgeable of local, state and federal employment laws and regulations
- Meet deadlines and compliance expectations per state regulations.
- Utilize tracking mechanisms to ensure compliance with state agencies.
- Perform other duties as assigned, such as increasing affiliate satisfaction, improving products or processes, improving efficiencies, and supporting daily service level goals.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with employees and supervisors while advocating for all organization policies and protocols.
- Experience in an accountable and results-oriented HR role with senior-level interface and a high degree of executive influence
Minimum Education and Experience RequirementsBachelors Degree, required or equivalent experienceSHRM-CP/PHR certification or higher preferredMinimum 5 years progressive HR experience required.
