Essential Job Duties- Provide professional and technical assistance in the area of human resources including background check procedures, employee selection, and record retention.
- Serve as a liaison between managers and the Human Resources Department. Respond to requests for information and provide assistance to employees regarding human resources questions.
- Input and retrieve a variety of data to produce documents and reports by utilizing reporting systems.
- Support in completion of job application materials and documents, and complete on-boarding for new employees.
- Reconcile invoices for various Human Resources vendors.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification, and E-Verify program for all new employees.
- Assist Director of HR and HR Manager with special projects when necessary.
- Work with third-party administrator (TPA) on a regular basis regarding unemployment claims.
- Administer annual Performance Planning and Evaluations (PP&E) program.
- Administer service award program.
- Complete wage statements for Worker's Compensation claims.
- Initiate and support the continual improvement of Keystone Automotive Industries' quality improvement system.
- Assumes other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities- Not responsible for supervising employees.
Minimum RequirementsEducation & Experience- High School Diploma/GED.
- 1+ years of related experience required.
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources.
Preferred Requirements Knowledge/Skills/Abilities- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.
- Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc. Ability to create, maintain, and incorporate functions into Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, databases, and PowerPoint presentations to support business objectives.
- Regularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills. May train others in functional areas, interact with others, and make presentations to departments or middle management.
- Problems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive, and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures.
- Decisions generally affect own job or assigned functional area.
- Results are defined; sets personal own goals and determines how to achieve results with few or no guidelines to follow; supervisor/manager provides broad guidance and overall direction.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment - Work is primarily sedentary: must be able to sit for extended periods of time and use a computer, keyboard, and mouse, frequently.
- Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements).
