One of the top performing, Commercial General Contractors, based out of New York, Gregor Industries, is seeking a talentedDirector of Human Resources to join our Team of Professionals. A minimum of 3 plus years supervisory experience. We are seeking a dedicated HR Director to lead our human resources function, focusing on HR operations and strategy while overseeing the well-being and development of our talented team members.Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Director to join our team. The HR Director will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's human resources function. You will lead and manage our entire HR department, working closely with leadership to develop and implement strategic human resource initiatives that support our growth and commitment to excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our organization's culture, performance and our success.Key responsibilities:Create and enhance HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal regulations and industry best practicesMaintain an up to date handbook based on Federal and State regulations as well as company policy and procedureAssist with proper insurance procedures as it pertains to Gregor Industries Workers Comp Policy and reportingStay up to date with labor laws and regulations, ensuring HR practices remain compliantConduct investigations, discipline, performance reviews and terminationsCreate and document policies and proceduresBe the subject matter expert as it pertains to company policy and procedure pertaining to Handbook and other Hiring noticesBe the subject matter expert as it pertains to company benefits and other company offeringsAddress issues raised by current employees and new-hires, assisting with providing solutions based on both Federal and NY State regulations and lawsMaintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping human resource information confidentialProvide payroll information by collecting time and attendance recordsMaintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and the database to ensure all employment requirements are metAssist with the recruitment and interview processAssist with new employee hiring processQualifications:Minimum of 3 years experience in Human Resources leadership positionBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, Master's degree preferredExperience in construction a plusExperience working through complex and sensitive employee issuesMust be adaptable to changeStrong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skillsDemonstrated knowledge of federal and state labor lawsMust have the ability to work with people at all levels within an organizationExperience with conflict resolutionAbility to properly handle confidential and HR sensitive informationPay:$72,000-$100,000 based on experience#J-18808-Ljbffr
