If you are looking for an entry into a rewarding career in Human Resources, this may be the job for you to consider!Summary:Supports operational and business goals by providing a broad range of Human Resources services to managers, supervisors and employees, including: recruiting, employee relations, policy interpretation, organizational development, benefits, wellness and regulatory compliance and administration.Essential Functions:Recruiting (Primary Function)
- Works with department managers to identify staffing needs
- Develops and executes recruiting strategies that ensure a fair and equitable process
- Coordinates recruitment efforts for exempt and nonexempt employees, internships and temporary staffing
- Provides full cycle recruiting and hiring support, including advertising, interviewing, employment offers and new hire orientation
- Develops and maintains relationships with community partners
- Participates in staffing related events
- Maintains recruitment records and applicant tracking
- Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
- Prioritizes recruitment, engagement, recognition and retention for reduced turnover
- Brings creative solutions and suggestions to optimize results

- Supports affirmative action and equal employment opportunity plans and required tracking
- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment

Employee Relations and Recognition
- Promotes an inclusive workplace by advising managers and supervisors on employee relations issues; including conflict resolution, performance improvement and related matters consistent with HR policy and practice
- Engages with the workforce to ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Assists in reviewing policies, programs and practices to insure value, compliance, fairness of application and effectiveness
- Maintains positive employee relations through communication, support and administration of the performance management system
- Coordinate and encourage the employee recognition programs and activities that celebrate employee accomplishments and years of service
- Participates in the creation and delivery of in-house training programs, including FMLA, interviewing, harassment, etc
- Track associated metrics and report out trends or themes in data

Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years HR generalist or recruiter experience
- Formal eduction and/or certification may be considered in lieu of experience
- Certifications/Licenses: PHR/SHRM-CP preferred
- Other Required Knowledge, Skills&Abilities:
- Attention to detail, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Critical thinking and effective prioritization
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Ability to work with others through complex situations
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screen
Working Conditions:
- Working Environment: Indoor working environment within various areas of a foundry and manufacturing facility or office environment
- Physical Demands: Sitting/standing, using a computer screen, keyboard and mouse for extended periods of time, ability to lift up to 20lbs, walking
- Travel Requirements: Varies from 5-10%, primarily between CPP sites and regional recruiting events
- Required PPE: PPE varies throughout the plant, check with area supervisor to ensure proper PPE is being used
- Safety Glasses: Needed in all areas of the plant
- Steel toe shoes: Needed in all areas of the plant
