Job Description:
Earp Distribution is a third-generation, family-owned and operated, food distribution company that is a recognized leader in our industry.We are currently looking for a Full-Time HR Generalist - Recruiting & Training in our Human Resources Department!!The role of the Human Resources Generalist - Recruiting and Training will be responsible for full life-cycle recruiting of staff which includes attracting, screening, and assisting in the selection process of participants for future growth of the company. They are also responsible for the continued development and tracking of all training within Earp Distribution. The Human Resources Generalist - Training and Recruiting will be the face of the company and participate in community events.Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:Recruitment (60%)
  • Review/Update job descriptions and job postings as needed.
  • Understanding of the hiring needs of each department.
  • Post open positions, ensuring accurate, attractive, and compliant descriptions.
  • Conduct interviews & facilitate in the hiring of new employees.
  • Follow-up with new employees and conducting satisfactory surveys.
  • Support recruiting outreach events including job fairs and other hiring events.
Training (25%)
  • Develop tangible training plans and training goals for management and staff.
  • Review and audit training process.
  • Survey and gather feedback for improvements of training, process, and procedures.
  • Responsible for all employment compliant training for Earp Distribution.
  • Assist managers with requests regarding additional employee and departmental training.
  • Research and developed future training methods.
  • Formulate concepts and develop strategies and solutions for training needs.
  • Influence company policy concerning employee knowledge and training.
Other HR Duties (15%)
  • Maintain strong relationships with employees, management, and administration
  • Champion employee engagement initiatives
  • Drive community outreach opportunities
  • Assist with employee onboarding and orientation.
  • Backup for bi-weekly Payroll.
  • Attend meetings, as needed
  • Deliver presentations, as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management or combination of education and experience.
  • 5 years training experience, required
  • 3 years recruiting, required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
