Be in a Position of StrengthSM. Start your career at Withum. We are currently seeking an intern for our Human Resources Department located in our Princeton, NJ office. We are flexible with the schedule but seek someone who can work at least 20 hours per week.How You'll Spend Your Time: Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide confidential support to all members of the Human Resources Team in such areas as benefits, compliance, employee relations, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Distributing and tracking new hire and off-boarding paperwork;
- Assisting with I-9 compliance, filing, and transitioning of files.
- Electronic filing and data entry into the Firm's HRIS
- Ordering accessories such as name tags and business cards.
- Ordering team member swag, recognition gifts, life event gifts, sending firm Birthday Cards.
- Assisting in the administration and dissemination of information regarding the Firm's discount and perk programs, and other firm benefits
- Processing invoices and reimbursements for the department
- Scheduling meetings and venues when needed
- Preparing and distributing HR/Talent communications and correspondence
- Planning and coordinating team member milestone events
- Assisting with various HR/Talent Management projects
To be considered for this position, you should:
- Hold or be pursuing a bachelor's degree in human resources, or related field
- Possess outstanding customer service skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work in a proactive manner
- Be highly organized, detail oriented, and have the ability to prioritize responsibilities and possess strong time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and strong analytical skills are a must
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with digital design is helpful
