What You'll Do:
- Employee Records/Compliance: Insure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations as well as maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Talent Acquisition: Develop and execute recruitment strategies to source, attract, and hire diverse and qualified candidates for various positions within CHS.
- Job Posting and Advertising: post job openings on relevant platforms, and utilize various recruitment channels to reach potential candidates.
- Screening and Assessments: Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and alignment with CHS's values. Conduct reference checks and coordinate background screening as part of the candidate evaluation process.
- Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews, facilitate interview panels, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Employment Branding: Contribute to building and promoting CHS's employment brand to attract top talent and reflect the organization's culture and values.
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing paperwork, conducting New Employee orientations, and ensuring a smooth transition. Also, manage the offboarding process for departing employees.
- Benefits Administration: Support benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries. Assist employees with benefit-related questions and issues.
- HR Policies and Procedures: Assist in the implementation and enforcement of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Employee Relations: Provide initial support to employees on HR-related matters, answer inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate resources.

RequirementsQualifications:Education:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, or a related field is required.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) are preferred.
Experiences:
- Experience in administrative roles or customer service positions is preferred.
- Experience or coursework related to human resources is a plus.
- Practical experience in recruitment or talent acquisition roles, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:Normal office environment with minimal exposure to dust, noise, etc. Extended PC viewing and keyboarding required. Extended periods of sedentary work required.*Must successfully complete all required background/pre-employment checks. EEO/AA.
