If you want to work with a fun, passionate, hardworking team, look no further!THE RIGHT FITWe are looking for an experienced Human Resources & Payroll Administrator to support our existing staff in our corporate offices in Portland, OR and our operations teams in multiple states to attract, hire, retain and pay the friendly, dedicated employees who keep our daily operations running. Our ideal candidate is a good listener with strong communication skills who demonstrates attention to detail.KEY ASPECTS OF THE JOBAs the Human Resources & Payroll Administrator, you will manage most aspects of the candidate interview, hiring and onboarding process, maintaining labor law compliance and oversee the bi-weekly payroll for all locations. This can include:
- Streamline processes for job postings, outreach and tracking
- Develop employee onboarding, engagement and retention strategies
- Administer payroll to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Advise on current benefits offerings and suggest strategic improvements
- Ensure total compliance to state, federal and institutional requirements
- Promote a positive experience associated with candidates engaging with Bambuza Hospitality Group and its sub-brands
- Build a strong team culture at all levels that honors our company's core values
Additional tasks include but are not limited to:
- Act as a resource of HR knowledge
- Review existing materials such as the company handbook and in store operations guides, and suggest improvements for efficiency and implementation
- Work closely with executive leadership to ensure adherence to contemporary HR protocols and procedures
- Advise on initial complaints from team members
- Promote a positive team culture
- Attend team meetings
- Define and adhere to the budget for HR programming
- Recruiting lead generation
- Strategy, forecasting, and data analysis of metrics including employee performance, turnover, retention and cost-per-hire rate
- Presentations and monthly reports
- Special projects and assignments as they arise
WHAT TO EXPECTOnsite attendance is required. The job may require sitting for extended periods of time. Use of calculators, keyboards, telephones, and other office equipment is to be expected. Occasional night or weekend work may be required by events and the course of business. Travel is required as needed to connect with staff and support mangement in all regions.BENEFITS

RequirementsMANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
- 5-7 years Administrative, Customer Service, or HR experience in a dynamic environment, with a priority on Human Resource and Recruitment experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience with general administrative duties such as calendar coordination, video calls, travel, expense reporting, report generation
- Experience planning and representing a brand at events such as career fairs
- Familiarity with Google Drive and its suite of tools, particularly Gmail, Meet and Calendar. Familiarity with payroll software, preferably ADP. Familiarity with AI technology, Adobe, Canva and/or Trello is a plus
- A passion for finding the right person for the right job and helping to grow the careers of outstanding individuals as well as the company overall
Salary Description $65,000 - $85,000 DOE
